Where to…

The Weir
“Great place to have a traditional English breakfast or light lunch and perhaps a glass of Cornish cider with it!”

“A very stylish Italian restaurant with gorgeous views and fantastic service.

Life’s A Beach
“If you want to treat yourself to something special, this unique dining experience is the one for you. The Cornish scallops with belly pork are to die for and so is the panoramic sea view.”

The Beach House
“Another restaurant we absolutely love, for its delicious Asian-orientated food, its incredible sea views and its gorgeous owner Beth. If you fancy an authentic, down to earth, cozy place to spend a good evening and a breath taking sunset, this is the place to go”

The Bank
“ Amazing tapas style restaurant tucked away by Bude canal. This indoors/outdoors type restaurant is such a treat and the food is just delicious”

“A delicious dining experience in the heart of Bude. Fresh and modern, using all local ingredients. A cafe by day and an evening restaurant. “

“All locals love The Deck. Proper, down to earth food. The most friendly service and absolutely and delicious.”

The Beach Hotel
“Definitely our favourite place for an afternoon/evening drink, with their yummy cocktails, amazing sea views and a great atmosphere. Just perfect!”

“Located right in the centre of Bude, this busy bar often has live music and a party scene on Friday and Saturday Nights.”

Bude Canal
“Starting at Penleaze, why not walk through Marhamchurch and down to the famous Bude Canal right into the centre of Bude. It takes about half an hour and is a great way to see the local area at its best.”

Northcott Mouth to Sandymouth
“Depending on the tide, either walk along the beach or the scenic coastal path to Sandymouth, rewarding yourself with a well-deserved cream tea when you get there.”

Milook to Crackington Haven
“Yes, you’ll need a bit of energy for this but my goodness it’s worth it for the spectacular views. After a 2.5 hour walk, kick back and relax in the Cabin café at Crackington Haven for a treat and some celebrity spotting. Advisable perhaps for a non-walker in your group to pick you up from there. So you don’t have to walk back again.”

Additional walks
“Because of our rather limited experience of walking, here are plenty of recommended routes from the professionals.”
